Youth Support Services

About Country Connect Youth Support Services

Country Connect's Youth Support Service provides tailored case management for young people. Our Youth Support Services are initiated when stakeholders identify at risk youth, prompting their engagement with Country Connect. Designed to provide timely support and intervention, our program aims to redirect youth away from participating in antisocial behaviors, and provide safe environments through trauma informed care.

What does our Youth Support Services offer?

Our youth services support program is dedicated to offering additional assistance to at-risk youth, aiming to instigate positive transformations in their lives. Our support workers prioritise the establishment of robust and trusting relationships with both the young individuals and their families. Through these relationships, we address complex issues such as risky behaviors that often lead to anti-social tendencies and further vulnerability. By providing this tailored support, we endeavor to guide these youth towards more constructive life trajectories and brighter futures.

Within our youth services support program, we prioritise trauma-informed care and engagement in activities that promote connection to country, culture, and community. By incorporating these elements into our approach, we create a nurturing environment that recognises and responds to the unique experiences of the young people we support. Through fostering a deeper appreciation for country and facilitating meaningful community involvement, we aim to empower these individuals to heal, grow, and thrive.
